Several of our products for the tail of the Tenere require our butterfly plate kit, but only one kit is needed per individual motorcycle. Since almost all orders are placed for a single motorcycle, we have decided to include only the minimum amount of butterfly plate kits necessary for installation of the products in your order. This way we can keep both the price of our products, as well as a waste of material at a minimum.

If you require an extra kit, because you are installing the products in your basket on different motorcycles, please let us know in the order comment, and you’ll receive extra kits for free (albeit in correspondence to the items in your order).

We believe that we developed the best one available. It’s not only affordable, but fits perfectly, has a durable, black-powdercoated finish, and simply looks super-sleek, giving your Tenere that extra something. Imagine how great it’ll look on your bike!

Even though a more durable part often means a lot more weight, in our case the lightweight design, and the use of aluminum, resulted in an added weight of only 130 grams in comparison to the original part!

Our perfect-fitting luggage plates are mounted to the bike directly, and to the crashbars using specially designed clamps in order to create a much stronger and more stable system than other options in the market, and at a minimal total weight of 3.1kg (crashbars, luggage plates and butterfly plate together)! The set-up allows you to carry your favorite soft-luggage systems in the best way possible with great support, no flopping around of bags, protection from crashes and looking cool.

Going for a daytrip and want to keep your bike as light as possible for the trails? You can then easily dismount the luggage plates and go hit the trails with only the crashbars as your protectors!

The plates are made out of aluminum to keep things light, whilst the included clamps are made out of steel to ensure a strong connection between crashbars and plates. After the full production process, including CNC cutting, CNC bending, drilling and threading, the items are beautifully powder-coated in black.

Last but not least, these side luggage plates will fit with all other Panonian products that are designed to mount on the tail of your Tenere. No changing, adjusting or cutting of any kind. Interchangeable fitment of all our products, in every possible combination, that was the first goal of our design. With that, we have succeeded in creating a fully interchangeable mounting of the top luggage rack, rear crash bars, side luggage plates, tail tidy and auxiliary fuel tank!

This kit is delivered with a set of side luggage panels (one left, one right), 4 long bushings needed for regular installation, 2 extra short bushings for when you are combining this product with our Top Luggage Rack, as well as all necessary nuts and bolts.

*The Rear Crash Bars are a separate product, and are not automatically included in your order of the Side Luggage Plates and are needed to install this product!

The crashbars follow the lines of the rear of your Tenere perfectly, don’t protrude so much that they’re in the way, but at the same time offer great protection. Expanding the set-up with the side luggage plates using the specifically designed clamps achieves a stable, and fully capable side luggage rack that can carry your favorite soft-luggage bags.

Adaptable, great support for your luggage, no flopping around of your bags, protection from crashes, strengthening of the rear section and great looking. What else would you need? Besides being lightweight, because it is, since we managed to keep the total weight at only 3.1kg, or only 1.65kg when running the crash bars alone!

Full lateral protection is guaranteed by connecting the skidplate all the way up to the plastic side panels. Drop or crash the Tenere however you like, this piece of kit will protect it all the way. At the same time, the aesthetics of the bike is fully kept, we’d say it is even improved! Additionally, extra protection is included in the bottom of the skidplate for both the linkage system, as well as the side-stand. All with an added weight of only 4.5kg in total.

No useless holes anywhere in the skidplate, that is our vision. This ensures full protection without a way for the skidplate to get caught on any branches, rocks or trees you pass over. The only holes in the skidplate are the frontal air fins, that ensure appropriate cooling of the engine without exposing it too much.

A total of six mounting points for the 4mm aluminum skidplate, created by using the three included 5mm steel brackets and the original mounting points below the engine, create an incredibly strong and stiff set-up. Now you can ride the most extreme terrain without any worries. Personally, we’d recommend to come out here in the Dinaric Alps and send your Tenere, with Panonian rally skidplate, across the rocky plains!

This kit includes the skidplate, three mounting brackets (top left, top right and front), and all the necessary bolts and washers necessary to perform installation.
