Yamaha Tenere 700 – Top Luggage Rack

Luggage carrying capability is an essential part of your bike for any type of adventure travelling. The challenge here, is to find lightweight and functional solutions for mounting your luggage systems to the bike. With the goal to avoid adding any unnecessary weight to your bike, as it decreases overall handling, especially in during offroad riding.

Our luggage rack is one of these lightweight and functional solutions you are looking for! It mounts on the tail of your bike and provides a multifunctional space for various types luggage mounting solutions. At the same time, it maintains the slim and sharp look of the Tenere. Actually, we’d say it even improves it!

The rack has a wide variety of mounting holes and slots in order to best accompany your luggage needs, fitting all kinds of straps and hooks in various ways. The slots on the rear were especially dimensioned to accompany the rear connecting straps of the Mosko Moto Reckless luggage systems, which allows your Mosko Moto bags to be strapped-down better and sit further back. This helps place the weight towards the rear, and also create more space for you as a rider to move around, giving you more control of your bike in offroad riding. Additionally, there are several pre-drilled holes (9,0-, 6,5- and 5,0-millimeter) that allow for mounting of a Rotopax, Kriega Rack Loops, GoPro mounts and more.

While the side carriers are made out of steel, the top part is made out of aluminum, which keeps the component strong yet light, the total weight is only 1.25kg! After cutting, all components are brushed to remove any sharp edges that might damage straps, and the durable black powder-coating finish creates an even smoother finish. For mounting the rack, no changes need to be made to any of your original parts, it is 100% plug and play. All fasteners and bushings, as well as the butterfly kit** on the bottom, needed for mounting the rack are of course included in the order.

Last but not least, this top luggage rack will fit with all other Panonian products that are designed to mount on the tail of your Tenere. No changing, adjusting or cutting of any kind. Interchangeable fitment of all our products, in every possible combination, that was the first goal of our design. With that, we have succeeded in creating a fully interchangeable mounting of the top luggage rack, rear crash bars, side luggage plates, tail tidy and auxiliary fuel tank!

Attention:
** Several of our products for the tail of the Tenere require our butterfly plate kit, but only one kit is needed per individual motorcycle. Since almost all orders are placed for a single motorcycle, we have decided to include only the minimum amount of butterfly plate kits necessary for installation of the products in your order. This way we can keep both the price of our products, as well as a waste of material at a minimum.
